Born in 1977, Klemen Dvornik is a film and television directing graduate of the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

He has directed more than 500 shows of various genres as well as more than 20 documentaries, short, television series and two feature length films. He has received nine national and international awards including for Best Film, Best Documentary, Student Award and the Audience Award.

He has been working at AGRFT since 2010. In autumn 2017, he was appointed Assistant Professor of television directing.

He is currently President of the Federation of Slovenian Filmmakers’ Guilds, Chairman of AIPA, Collecting Society of Authors, Performers and Film Producers of Audiovisual Works of Slovenia, a Board Member of the Federation of European Audiovisual Directors (FERA) and an Executive Committee member of Writers & Directors Worldwide.
